Ages 4-7

This experiential class, team-taught by three of our faculty members, is designed as an introduction to individual instruction in piano (though students are welcome to move on to any other instrument). Designed to seamlessly integrate the elements of rhythm, ear-training, and reading, each class will include a combination of piano, creative movement & song, and percussion. The keyboard component will give children a chance to learn about the piano through games, duets, listening, and learning their first songs on the keyboard.

Take 3 is an hour-long class that meets weekly on Thursday afternoons, starting at 4 pm. Children will be placed in a time slot (4:00, 4:20 or 4:40 start time) and will be notified of their time slot prior to the first class.
