Rachel Kish

Rachel Kish (violin, viola, cello) approaches music education at an individual level; adapting her teaching to students’ learning abilities and needs. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in music, and has worked as an adjunct professor at Johnson State College, sectional coach for the Green Mountain Youth Symphony, and in her personal studio for nearly two decades. In her most recent position, Rachel developed an all-inclusive string program at Miller’s Run School in northern Vermont. Working with a wide range of learning differences, Rachel pioneered a revolutionary string instrument program that provided instruments, instruction, and ensemble experience to every student, every year, from 3rd to 8th grade. Rachel is excited for new opportunities to grow alongside her students as she gives them the skills necessary to excel personally as well as musically. She teaches private lessons, group lessons, and small ensembles.
