New Horizon Band
New Horizons Concert Band
Thursdays, 6:30 – 8:15 p.m. with Maria Isaak

If you have ever wished:

  • You could revisit your high school band days
  • You could play for fun in a band at a relaxed pace
  • You could have fun making music with new friends

Now is the time to join the Music School’s New Horizons Band! This community band welcomes adults of all ages who play woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments. No auditions, no requirements, just reasonable comfort on your instrument to get started.

Under the direction of Maria Isaak, New Horizons at CCMS is a supportive group for those who have always wanted to learn an instrument, those who haven’t played in years, and even players who have kept their music making current and desire to play in a concert band setting. We hope you will join us for the new New Horizons Band at CCMS! Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8:15 pm.

Do you want to join the band this spring? The first rehearsal on January 29 is a FREE “open play” to try the band before registering.

The New Horizons Band will perform in three concerts this year. They will perform a winter concert at Bow High School Auditorium on January 22. Then on March 21, the band will perform in a festival of all four New Hampshire New Horizons Bands in Portsmouth. The band closes out the year with an outdoor concert on May 21 at Fletcher Murphy Park in Concord. For more information or to register for New Horizons, click here.
