Suzuki program includes 16 private lessons, plus weekly group classes on Mondays. The spring semester begins on January 26, but students are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis.

Ages 4 and up

Suzuki lessons educate young musicians as early as age 4. We use children’s natural ability to learn language as a model for teaching music, building comfort on the instrument, technical ability, and beautiful tone before introducing the concept of reading music. Every week, families work with their teacher in one private/individual lesson and one group lesson; parents attend both lessons, and partner with their children in practicing at home. Group lessons offer an opportunity to experience early ensemble playing, learn basic music theory and musicianship, and just have fun with other kids! We aim to nurture the whole child, creating an environment that fosters cooperation, dedication, and a lifelong love of music.

Please contact our Director of Student Services to learn more and register for the Suzuki violin program.
