With Ariel Slater

Suzuki program includes 16 private lessons, plus weekly group classes on Saturdays. The fall semester begins on September 22, but students are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis.

Ages 4 and up

Suzuki lessons educate young musicians as early as age 4. We use children’s natural ability to learn language as a model for teaching music, building comfort on the instrument, technical ability, and beautiful tone before introducing the concept of reading music. Every week, families work with their teacher in one private/individual lesson and one group lesson; parents attend both lessons, and partner with their children in practicing at home. Group lessons offer an opportunity to experience early ensemble playing, learn basic music theory and musicianship, and just have fun with other kids! We aim to nurture the whole child, creating an environment that fosters cooperation, dedication, and a lifelong love of music.

Please contact our Director of Student Services to learn more and register for the Suzuki violin program.

Introduce your child to the joy of violin in this engaging and playful 6-week Suzuki Pre-Twinkle class! Designed for young beginners (preschool–rising 1st graders), this class provides a fun and supportive environment for children and parents to explore the fundamentals of violin playing before using a real instrument. With specially crafted box violins and bows provided, students will learn:
-How to hold the violin and bow properly
-Rhythm skills through interactive games
-Singing and musical activities to develop listening skills
-Engaging movement-based exercises to build coordination

Through group activities and parent involvement, this class sets the foundation for a smooth transition into formal violin lessons. Class size is kept small (4-6 students) to allow for individualized attention.
No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a love of music!
