Join the beat in this dynamic percussion ensemble designed for teens and adults with beginner to intermediate experience. Explore a wide range of rhythmic styles and techniques through both traditional and non-traditional arrangements. Using an exciting mix of instruments—from drums and mallet percussion to found objects and body percussion—you’ll develop ensemble skills, build confidence, and have fun making music together. Over the session, the group will prepare 5–7 pieces to showcase in a lively culminating recital. No prior ensemble experience required!
NEW – Junior Junk Drawer Percussion Ensemble (ages 8-14)

Meets on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm starting February 10
Like our existing Junk Drawer Percussion Ensemble, this class for students ages 8-14 will include “found” everyday objects such as buckets, cans, pots and pans, and anything else that creates sound. Experience percussion in a unique way. Over the session, the group will prepare 5-7 pieces to showcase in a lively culminating recital. Open to beginner level students and up (must be able to read music). No prior ensemble experience required.
