Individual Instruction

for 16-week semester

Please see the Individual Instruction page of this website for all of the opportunities, benefits, and activities included in the Individual Instruction Curriculum. Those activities -- along with weekly lessons -- are all included in the following tuition charges for a 16-week semester. 

  • Curriculum with 30-minute lesson: $672
  • Curriculum with 45-minute lesson: $992
  • Curriculum with 60-minute lesson: $1,296

NOTE: The Music School welcomes students at any time of the semester, and we will gladly pro-rate the tuition based on the number of lessons remaining in the semester -- please contact the Registrar for details (This email address is being protected from spambots. Ensembles & Classes

Please click here to see all of our spring semester class and ensemble offerings. Students enrolled for individual instruction receive a 25% discount on ensembles.** Tuition for most classes and ensembles varies according to class size and sponsorship subsidies, but our largest programs are listed below:

  • Songweavers - $150 per semester/$285 full year* or family rate: $250/pair or $475/pair for full year*
  • Songweaver Drummers - $150 per semester/$285 full year* or family rate: $250/pair or $475/pair for full year*
  • Purple Finches Chorus - all groups $175 ($332.50 full year*)
  • Music and Movement - $75 (summer and winter session-6 weeks) - $150 (fall session-12 weeks) - $125 (spring session-10 weeks)

*If paid in full by the first week of the fall semester.

**Students must be enrolled for either weekly or bi-weekly lessons to qualify for this discount.

Registration Fee Update!

Starting in the spring 2022 semester, we will no longer charge an annual registration fee.

Registration Details

The academic year is divided into two 16-week semesters: fall and spring. A flexible summer session also is offered. Registration enrolls a student for the entire semester. Instruction is not offered on a week-to-week basis, although new students are accepted throughout the year when space is available.

Registration is considered final with receipt of at least half of the semester tuition. At that time, a lesson schedule is confirmed. Lesson times arranged at registration are considered permanent for the year.

Registration obligates the student to pay tuition for the entire 16-week semester. Tuition is payable in full upon registration or one-half at registration with the balance due in full prior to the fourth week of the semester. Personal check, money order, cash, VISA, MasterCard,and Discover are accepted (we no longer accept American Express starting in February 2022). Tuition payments are accepted online through our new billing system, ASAP Connected, or they can be mailed to us at: Concord Community Music School, Attn: Registrar, 23 Wall Street, Concord, NH 03301. Students are always welcome to make payment in person during regular office hours.

Late Tuition Payment

Non-payment of tuition in full before the fourth week of the semester will result in late fees and suspension of lessons.


Tuition refunds are made only within the first three weeks of the semester. The teacher must be notified of intent to withdraw, and a written request must be received by the Registrar's Office. Communicating intent to withdraw only with faculty or staff members or simply not attending classes will not guarantee a refund or negate the student's obligation to pay for the entire semester.
