Performance is central to the Music School's mission and more than 200 public recitals, concerts, workshops and lectures are produced each year. They include jazz, folk and classical performances, an annual mandolin festival and an all-day Performathon in March. Many are admission free.
The School’s rich and diverse concert season features prominent guest artists, our own acclaimed faculty, and our incredibly talented students and ensembles.
The general public is welcome at all Music School concerts and performances. Many concerts are free; those that are not are modestly priced.
Tickets to Music School concerts may be purchased through the CCMS website until Thursday at 9 pm. After this time, tickets may be purchased by calling 603-228-1196, in person during regular business hours or at the door as space permits.
Much more than Bach, the series explores a range of musical topics and genres in informal, free, lunch-hour lectures and concerts the first and second Thursdays of each month, November through June.
Bach's Lunch lectures and concerts are held in the Recital Hall, 23 Wall Street, downtown Concord; they begin at 12:10 and conclude by 12:50 p.m. Bring your lunch - and your friends!

Concord native and Concord Community Music School alumnus Craig Sanphy, an accomplished tenor, will return to the Music School for a free public recital on Sunday, April 29, at 7:30pm. Sanphy will be accompanied by Kathryn Southworth on piano.

Dan Zanes -- 2 shows to benefit The Friendly Kitchen
Concord's own Dan Zanes returns to perform at the Music School, Saturday, May 5 -- 10am and 7:30pm!
On Saturday, May 5, join Grammy-Award winner and former Concord native, Dan Zanes, and the celebrated Haitian-American vocalist Claudia Eliaza, and world-renowned illustrator and author (and folk music hero) Donald Saaf for two shows at the Concord Music School. The trio will perform an interactive all-ages family show in the morning (10:00am) featuring music from Dan’s extensive catalog and an evening concert (7:30pm) for the older crowd celebrating the music of Lead Belly, The King of the 12-string Guitar. These concerts will benefit The Friendly Kitchen.
