Ashley Paine (piano) received her B.S. in Music Education and B.A. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Plymouth State University, where she studied piano performance with Dr. Carleen Graff and collaborative piano with Constance Chesebrough. She began her teaching career at PSU where she taught piano to children and adults, assisted teaching Piano Classes to music majors, and performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist. Ms. Paine went on to teach music in Vermont, where she taught general, choral, and instrumental music at Westminster Center School. She also taught piano, voice, woodwind, and brass lessons, performed as a collaborative pianist, and served as music director of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Chester, VT. She returned to PSU in 2014 to teach a Piano Master Class for young students of Piano Pedagogy majors. She currently teaches general music to students in grades K-8 at Chichester Central School.
