SUMMARY:David Surette Mandolin Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:There will be workshops on Saturday and Sunday for all levels on things like specific styles and skills\, waltzes\, how to play tasty back-up for songs\, and more. There are classes each period for beginners to advanced levels. Each teacher will offer something for each level so you will get to be with every teacher by the end of the weekend. As always\, a set of group tunes will be sent out in advance for you to work on for us to play together. The Saturday concert is included with your fee for the weekend. DESCRIPTION:CCMS welcomes the James Fernando Trio back on Saturday\, March 21\, 2026 to headline our annual Jazz Night Fundraiser\, with proceeds benefiting our Financial Aid Fund. \n  \n \nHeld in our Recital Hall with table seating\, this evening features one of today’s most exciting jazz groups: the James Fernando Trio. Fernando is a Philadelphia-based pianist whose career includes international performances\, collaborations with GRAMMY Award–winning artists\, and five acclaimed albums. \nDrawing inspiration from legends like Duke Ellington\, Oscar Peterson\, and Thelonious Monk\, the trio performs with irresistible rhythm and genuine joy. If you enjoyed their lively Bach’s Lunch appearance at CCMS in October 2024\, you’ll love this evening of inventive improvisation\, fresh takes on jazz standards\, and standout original music. \nTickets: $80 per person | Table of 4: $300 (includes one free drink ticket for each person at your table.) \nBonus: Join us for a complimentary pre-show reception\, including light appetizers and a performance by the CCMS Adult Jazz Ensemble\, from 5:30–6:30 PM \n*Please note: we will not have physical tickets for this event.
