Adult Chamber Ensembles
The Music School works with interested adult students to arrange small chamber music ensembles that are coached by faculty members. Combinations of singers, wind and string players, and pianists are possible.
African-Style Drumming
Led by Grace and Lindsey Schust. Beginners and drummers with some experience learn African hand-drumming techniques taught in the oral tradition. Students play the drums, shakers, and bells used in African, Afro-Cuban, and Afro-Contemporary ensemble settings.
Introduction to Recording - Matt Marcil
Offering the opportunity to study the equipment and techniques of the recording studio, this class provides students a hands-on experience with live recording and mixing down to the final CD.
