Thanks for making a year-end contribution to the Music School. We’re still working with our vendors to make sure our online payment processing system is as convenient and secure as possible.
Last year, unwavering support from our contributors, despite the recession, enabled us to continue at the previous year’s level of $200,000 in annual financial assistance for the 41% of our weekly students who come from low-income families. Contributed income also made possible more than 100 free concerts, and helped us to avoid personnel reductions for the creative, talented faculty members who call the Music School home.
The Music School was cited as an anchor organization in Concord’s Creative Economy Report, for its economic impact in employing musicians and bringing visitors to downtown.
While proud of our leadership role in the creative economy, we are most proud of the personal impact on each participant: the musical friendships that abound, and the access for students of all backgrounds to learn from an outstanding faculty.
