Mezzo-Soprano Petra Pacaric holds a master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the Boston Conservatory. Originally from Austria, she studied music and foreign languages at the Innsbruck Conservatory of Music and the University of Innsbruck, from which she graduated with an M.A. in Foreign Languages in Conference Interpretation and Translation. Petra Pacaric is at home in a wide range of musical styles, ranging from classical to the Great American Songbook. Ms. Pacaric has performed extensively with Boston Symphony and Tanglewood Festival Chorus in Boston, Tanglewood, and at Carnegie Hall. Her featured solo engagements include collaborations with numerous major area companies such as New England Light Opera, Longwood Opera, the Metrowest Symphony, Nashua Symphony, and Westford Chorale, as well as countless recitals in the greater Boston area and New Hampshire. A versatile mezzo-soprano, she is also active as a jazz vocalist with regular music engagements in and around Boston. She is a member of the voice faculty at Phillips Exeter Academy and lives in Stratham where she maintains a private voice studio.
